2007 APBA Gold Cup - GNH and 5-Liter Hydroplanes

Presented here is a combined gallery of the limited hydros that raced Gold Cup weekend. Great racing in both the GNH, and 5-liter classes, with Hootie (Marty Wolfe) bringing it home in his GNH-22, "Summer Wine' in the Grand National class, followed closely by Cal Phipps in his GNH-41, 'Saleen/Happy Go Lucky'. Our own Pacific Northwest participant, Paul Becker, placed a respectable fifth in his GNH-114, 'Compuware/Critical logic', despite running one of the largest and heavest hulls in the fleet. In 5-liter, Eric Labelle in the georgous CE-1, 'Do-It', placed first on the "too rough for 5-liters" water of the Detroit River.
